What is bleed?

Bleed is extra artwork beyond the cut line (usually 3 mm) so no white edge shows if the cut is slightly off. Background colour here extends into the bleed automatically.

Will a print shop accept this PDF?

The PDF has the correct trim and bleed boxes, optional crop marks, and one page per side. Check your printer’s spec — some want CMYK, which they can convert.

Which characters are supported?

The PDF uses built-in Helvetica, which covers Western European characters. Other scripts are dropped from the PDF.
