How to convert HEIC photos to JPG

Turn iPhone HEIC photos into JPG or PNG files that open everywhere — in batches, without an app or upload.

Open HEIC to JPGConvert iPhone photos — runs in your browser

iPhones save photos as HEIC by default. It's an efficient format, but many websites, Windows apps and older software can't open it.

Steps

  1. Open HEIC to JPG.
  2. Drop one or many .heic or .heif files.
  3. Choose JPG (smaller) or PNG (lossless).
  4. Download each image, or all of them as a zip.

Stop your iPhone creating HEIC

On iPhone, go to Settings → Camera → Formats and choose Most Compatible. New photos will be saved as JPG. Existing photos stay HEIC, which is where a converter helps.

Keep or strip location data?

Photos often contain GPS coordinates. If you're sharing them publicly, run them through the EXIF Remover to check and remove location and camera details.

Privacy

Your photos are decoded and converted on your own device. Nothing is uploaded.
